Jacqueline Montgomery, MS, RN
Chief Nursing Officer

Ellis Medicine Jacqueline Montgomery joined Ellis in 2014, as an RN in the NICU at Bellevue Woman’s Center. She rose from frontline nurse to nurse manager to Director and Site Administrator of Bellevue, a position she has held since 2019. She was named Interim CNO in 2023.

A native of Schenectady County, Mrs. Montgomery received her associate’s degree from Saint Elizabeth College of Nursing, her bachelor’s from SUNY Polytechnic University, and her Master’s in Nursing Management and Organizational Leadership from American Sentinel University in Denver, Colorado.

In addition to her duties as Chief Nursing Officer, Mrs. Montgomery is an adjunct clinical instructor for Ellis’ Belanger School of Nursing, serves on Ellis’ Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, and is the point person for the hospital’s efforts under The Joint Commission’s new Health Equity regulations.
