Subject: Compliance with Fraud and Abuse Laws

Ellis Medicine is committed to conducting its business with integrity and in compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations. As a business partner, we expect that you will understand and support our policies.

As a participant in the Medicaid Program that receives the minimum amount in payments annually, we are obligated to comply with the terms and requirements of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (the “DRA”). In accordance with the DRA, we have written policies and procedures for all employees that provide detailed information about the Federal and New York State False Claims Acts, the Program Fraud Civil Remedies Act, relevant state laws, the whistleblower protections under such laws, and Ellis Medicine’s policies for detecting and preventing waste, fraud, and abuse. The DRA also requires that we provide this information to our vendors, contractors and agents for your review and that you agree to abide by the high ethical standards Ellis Medicine upholds in the work you do for us.

Ellis Medicine requires vendors to participate in our electronic vendor tracking program, Reptrax.

Log into www.reptrax.com or call 1.972.316.6518 for credentialing details and instructions before making appointments.

Vendors will not be allowed access unless properly badged thru Reptrax.
