Student Policies
Student Responsibility
Upon acceptance and registration, each student becomes a voluntary member of the academic community at BSON. Initial and continued participation in this community is dependent upon the students’ understanding of their rights, privileges and responsibilities. Therefore, it is understood that each student accepts the obligations of this relationship.
Student Handbook
The BSON Student Handbook is updated each fall semester and is accessible to students, faculty and staff. The Handbook includes current detailed information about student services, financial aid, health policies, the Student Body Association, academic standards and policies, and other information useful to the student. Students are responsible for reviewing the content of the Student Handbook.
Student Code of Conduct
The BSON Code of Conduct is provided to new students during orientation and can be found on the learning management system. The Code of Conduct contains expected behaviors as well as defines unacceptable behaviors and their consequences. For more information, review the BSON Code of Conduct.
