Bariatric Surgery Announcement - Closed as of February 2025

Ellis Medicine has made the difficult decision to close the Bariatric Care Center on River Road in Niskayuna.  We will no longer be seeing bariatric surgery patients at this location as of February 28, 2025.

This decision, while disruptive, reflects changing trends in health care, including the growing use of weight loss medications like Wegovy and Ozempic and significant reductions in bariatric surgery.

Now located at this location is Ellis Primary Care - Niskayuna. Ellis Primary Care in Niskayuna sees patients of all ages, from infants to senior citizens, and provides a full range of services to meet all of your needs.
