Ellis Medicine also operates a Dental Health Center and sponsors a one-year Dental Residency program that includes training in general dentistry, and pediatric dentistry. In addition, residents are assigned to dental and oral surgery cases in the hospitals operating room affording them the opportunity to become familiar with admission, treatment and discharge protocols associated with hospitalized dental patients.
