Ellis Medicine's Wait Anywhere should not be used for serious injuries or life-threatening medical conditions. If you have a serious injury or life-threatening condition, you should immediately dial 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.

Ellis Medicine Walk-in Care at Family Health is a convenient option for when you need medical care today but your primary care provider is not available. Some examples of these medical situations may include:

• Sore throat
• Flu
• Earaches
• Minor cuts and scapes
• Insect bites
• Urinary Tract Infection

If you need emergency medical care NOW and have symptoms such as:

• Chest pain
• Trouble breathing
• Severe injury
• Fainting
• Sudden weakness or trouble speaking
• Uncontrolled bleeding

Go directly to the Emergency Room or Dial 911.

• Small bone fractures
• Insect bites
• Urinary Tract Infection

If you need emergency medical care NOW and have symptoms such as:

• Chest pain
• Trouble breathing
• Severe injury
• Fainting
• Sudden weakness or trouble speaking
• Uncontrolled bleeding

Wait Anywhere: What to expect

With Wait Anywhere, we are staffed to see you at the time of your choice. Please know that patients who come to a walk-in facility have a range of medical needs. If we have a patient with acute symptoms, who needs immediate care, and who presents around your allotted time, a provider may not be able to see you immediately. In such situations, we will make every effort to see you as soon as possible.

Don’t see a convenient timeslot on our menu? Don’t worry. You can come to Ellis Medicine Walk-in Care at Family Health Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:30 PM. We are typically able to keep wait times to a minimum, and most always have a quick turnaround time to see a provider.

What else you need to know:

• In the rare event there are changes to your selected timeslot, we will notify you by phone and/or email.
• Plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to your Wait Anywhere timeslot, which will allow you time to register at the front desk.
• If you are more than 10 minutes late for your Wait Anywhere timeslot, please know that we may have to give your time to another patient, but we will see you as soon as possible.
