Jim Hurley

Ellis Medicine Jim Hurley is the owner of Home Instead, a licensed home care agency that provides seniors with a variety of assistive services to help them remain in their homes. The agency serves five counties in the Capital Region.

Mr. Hurley is a strong advocate for seniors and is actively involved in several organizations that support them. He is a member of the Northeastern New York Alzheimer's Association. In addition, he serves as Chair of the New York Chapter of the Home Care Association of America and the Capital Region Workforce Development Board.

He is also a member of the Schenectady Rotary. Mr. Hurley grew up in Clifton Park and now lives in Halfmoon. Prior to starting Home Instead, he spent 30 years in the hotel/restaurant industry.
