Ellis Promise partnership connecting students to health care jobs

Tuesday, April 25, 2023

News10 reports on a new Ellis Medicine partnership with the Schenectady City School District and SUNY Schenectady that will connect local high school and college students with health care jobs and career development support.

Through the Ellis Promise program, recruiters and coaches will help guide students and other community members through the job search process, and also connect them with the support they need to be successful.

“What this does in the long-term, it gives opportunities for people to have good jobs, good careers in healthcare, and really give back to this community,” Ellis Medicine President & CEO Paul Milton told News10 following a press conference announcing the program.

The press conference included an announcement that Mother Cabrini Health Foundation and KeyBank were supporting the program through grants to the Foundation for Ellis Medicine.
