What to expect at our screening stations
Effective Wednesday, July 7, 2021, Well Screen stations at Ellis Hospital and Bellevue will no longer require a temperature scan or questions related to COVID symptoms for anyone entering these facilities.
Well Screen questions will continue to be used for all non-employees such as visitors, vendors, contractors and outpatients for identification purposes and to verify if they are fully vaccinated or not.
Fully vaccinated non-employees such as visitors, vendors, contractors and outpatients will no longer be required to wear a mask if they can validate they are fully vaccinated. All screening stickers will have a V marked by a screener so you will be able to know if they need to wear a mask. All non-vaccinated employees and non-employees must continue to wear a mask.
McClellan Street Health Center and the ERRC nursing home will continue to have temperature scans and COVID symptom checks until further notice.
Screening stations at all outpatient or business office locations including Medical Center of Clifton Park and Mohawk Urgent Care will be removed. Screening will remain in place at Nott Street, Bellevue, and the McClellan Street Campus until further notice.
HCP screening at facility entrances is no longer required. However, HCP must continue to self monitor for symptoms of COVID. HCP with COVID symptoms must contact Employee Health at 518-243-1616 and should not arrive for work. Call in procedures for your department still need to be followed.
