Visiting Restrictions ≫ Vendor Guidelines

Due to the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are limiting access by visitors and business partners.  Unless their presence at one of Ellis Medicine's facilities is critical, they are to use email, texting or telephone for communicating with their Ellis business partner. 

Please note that Ellis’ visitor policy has been modified to reflect New York’s recent travel advisory. We will be screening visitors who have traveled within the past 14 days from Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah, and won’t be able to allow visitors from these states.   Updated information on states from which individuals must quarantine can be found here:

Exceptions to the travel advisory are permitted for essential workers and are limited based on the duration of time in designated states. This travel advisory does not apply to individuals passing through one of the designated states for a limited duration (i.e., less than 24 hours). 

Visitors will be travel screened prior to entry.   If they have traveled to the designated areas listed above within the last 14 days they will not be allowed to visit.       

Ellis is also working on conserving personal protection equipment (PPE).  If you a vendor does come onto campus, they are not to enter any restricted area (OR/procedural rooms) unless approved by the management in that area.  If they do enter a room, they must remain in the room for the duration of the case.

At this time, we cannot accommodate the training of new vendors, observation by managers or others from your company.  Only essential personnel may enter the surgical suite or procedural areas.
